Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist- Atlanta
Pay Grade: K
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, provides analysis, research and technical expertise in recruiting/staffing within DBHDD.
Assists with projects that have a significant impact to the agency.
Interact daily with all levels of State government management, including Executives.
Advertise positions, screen candidates, work with hiring managers to assure
that DBHDD finds and hires the right people to fill open roles in the areas of the recruiting responsibility.
Analyzes organizational, occupational, and industrial data to facilitate organizational functions and provide technical information to business, industry, and government.
Applies analytical and professional expertise to staffing function.
Assists in assessing needs and develops position analysis instruments and materials.
Represents the organization in a variety of settings, including presentations to candidates, educational institutions, general public, etc.
Evaluates positions, determining classification, exempt or non-exempt status, and compensation.,
Observes, interviews, and surveys employees and may conduct focus group meetings to collect position, organizational, and occupational information.
Participates in meetings or presentations and assists with the preparation and distribution of communication materials.
Additional duties as assigned
Exceptional customer service skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively interact/engage with all levels of customer base and workforce.
Attends recruiting events as needed/requires limited travel within the state (some possibly overnight)
Experience using Taleo, or other ATS.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and other HRIS Systems (PeopleSoft, Kronos, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
4 year degree
Previous experience in recruiting for a governmental organization
Previous experience in recruiting for a medical organization
Previous experience in high volume full life cycle recruiting
