SUMMARY
The Servicing Manager position for Investor Reporting manages the daily payment processing, account reversals, payment processing corrections and bank reconciliations. Review bank statements and system reports to ensure all accounts are balanced with adequate funds to process daily transactions. Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports to all stake holders with-in the servicing and accounting operations as well as Investors and Insurers.
MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate or a related business field
- Two years of experience in Investor Reporting management, mortgage servicing or loan processing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the job duties and responsibilities of the job, as determined by The State of Georgia
- Experience in reviewing FHA, Fannie Mae, USDA and VA Investor Reporting guidelines
- Strong understanding of banking, accounting, mortgage and default documentation
- Black Knight experience preferred
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytic skills, attention to detail, and ability to work within time constraints
- Self-motivated, comfortable taking initiative and handling multiple projects simultaneously
- Professional and excellent level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
- Solid decision-making skills with display of professionalism in maintaining confidentiality
- Proven problem-solving and team building skills
- Fast learner with the ability to rapidly acquire detailed knowledge of departmental policies, practices and procedures
- Must be organized and possess excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Reports to work on a daily and timely basis
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties:
- Evaluate the State Home Mortgage bank accounts and ensure all accounts are balanced daily best suited for the situation; this entails a review of the mortgagor(s) income and expenses, income tax returns, balance sheets/income statements for self-employed borrowers and credit reports
- Train and develop staff to take on all roles with-in the department
- Prepare Investor and Insurer reports and deliver to timely to corresponding departments
- Maintain policies and procedures for all functional duties with-in the department
- Provide continuous training to staff both in classroom training, Teams format or webinar
- Submit requires invoices to vendors for payment
- Complete the system processing for all loss mitigation files timely and accurately
- Prepare, scan, and index all daily banking information
- Accurately and timely update servicing system to reflect current status of file
Communication:
- Respond politely and courteously to inquiries via email and telephone and make sure that any problems presented are resolved
- Ensure staff are notified promptly as to the status of a request for assistance regarding loan adjustments, payoffs or check requests
- Communicate with the bank and lockbox to resolve any processing issues, reconciliations or reimbursements
- Ensure all inquiries to Investors/Insurers are responded to promptly
- Handle all written correspondence between the various departments with-in State Home Mortgage, the banks, investors, insurers and 3rd party vendors
- Excellent level of oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate across a variety of audiences.
Administrative:
- Manage all daily batch processing from acknowledgment to completion
- Request and follow up on bank reconciliations
- Ensure all payment processing and loss mitigation processing is completed timely and accurately
- Complete and distribute all daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Create policies and procedures for all functional duties
- Perform other related duties, as assigned
WORKING CONDITIONS (TRAVEL, HOURS, ENVIRONMENT)
This position is salaried. Work hours are 8:00am - 5:00 pm on Monday-Friday with adjusted hours at mid-month and month-end per business needs.
Limited travel required
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential
Office environment
PHYSICAL / SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Work is principally stationary, but the person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc., and constantly operates a computer and other office equipment.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

Must be able to operate office equipment.
Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, tenants, and community agencies and other entities that provide services.
