Custodian
This job is a full-time, benefited, FLSA non-exempt position in the Technology & Operations that reports to the Supervisor of Operations.
Salary: Targeted salary is commensurate with education and experience not to exceed the budgeted amount of $33,280 per year.
Scheduled Hours: Evening position: Monday – Friday 1:30 pm – 10:30 pm Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Occasional Saturday

Any combination of training and experience which would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
In addition to the minimum qualifications, a minimum of six months' experience performing custodial duties.
Certain positions are subject to pre-employment and random drug testing. Refusal to take the test or a positive result will lead to separation and a 2-year ineligibility period for state employment. Additionally, for any employment offer that includes a required drug test, the test must be completed within 48 hours. Failure to comply will result in the offer being rescinded and a 2-year ineligibility period for state employment.
Job Description Summary:
Under general supervision, maintains proper care of Gwinnett Technical College facilities by maintaining a clean and sanitized environment. Cleans and maintain floors, surfaces, restrooms, and other spaces as assigned. Ensure restrooms and other facilities are properly stocked with appropriate products. If offered a position, employees in this department must complete the Hazardous Materials Training as well as the Bloodborne & Airborne Pathogen training annually.
