Administrative Assistant to Vice President of Administrative Services
This job is a full time, benefited, FLSA exempt position in the Administrative Services Division that reports to the Vice President of Administrative Services.
Salary: $54,080/yr
Schedule: Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM on the Lawrenceville Campus. This position is not eligible for telework

Bachelor’s degree *and* One (1) year of work related experience OR Associate Degree in Business Administrative Technology *and* Two (2) years of work related experience
Note: Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
In addition to the minimum qualifications, advanced MS Outlook, Excel, PPT, and Word skills; demonstrated advanced organizational skills; basic accounting skills; customer service experience; higher education experience.
Job Description Summary:
The Administrative Assistant to Vice President is responsible for a variety of administrative support functions to assist the vice president of the college. This position will also support the Executive Director of the Foundation and the Executive director of Marketing. Monitors use of and maintains supplies, equipment and/or facilities maintenance needs. Enters data from forms into computer. Coordinates meetings and management activities for Administrative Services.

Perform and complete variety of tasks and assignments associated with support functions for the Vice President of Administrative Services and assigned Administrative Services division, Gwinnett Tech Foundation, and Marketing department.
· Serves as point of contact for all Trustees and communicates information to appropriate parties.
· Acts as the administrative contact for key resource development volunteers, trustees and major accounts using extraordinary customer service and professional demeanor. |
