Job Summary:
Under general supervision, implements web technology to create and maintain websites. Develops and manages the content, design, layout, and scheme for agency and/or division sites.
Job Description / Essential Functions:
· Build, edit, and manage website content for agency public websites using Drupal and other content management systems.
· Develop, administer, and maintain the agency intranet using SharePoint.
· Facilitate consistent, creative, and unified web design across the organization’s web interfaces.
· Ensure that website content, forms, and applications comply with department policies and accessibility standards, including Section 508 compliance.
· Serve as the highest advanced level subject matter expert and primary contact for all aspects of the agency website(s), guiding professional staff.
· Build and manage interactive forms in Wufoo, Drupal Webforms, MS Power Apps, and similar platforms as appropriate.
· Manage agency email campaigns in Mailchimp and Constant Contact: administer users and all email lists; build, edit, test, and send email campaigns regularly.
· Manage department domains, certificates, shared Dropbox, and SendGrid accounts.
· Perform basic graphic design tasks such as image resizing and conversion.
· Create and manage PDF documents and forms using Adobe Acrobat.
· Create and maintain documentation of applications, procedures, and policies. This documentation may include user manuals as well as technical writing for the development team.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Expertise in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
· Experience in using Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint. Experience in administering SharePoint is a plus.
· Experience with MailChimp or similar email campaign platform.
· Experience with using a content management system to update websites.
· Familiarity with web and publication accessibility standards and experience in implementing and enforcing these standards.
· Familiarity with using Adobe Acrobat DC to create and edit PDF documents and forms.
· Experience with interactive form creation.
· Experience with basic graphic design tasks.
· Ability to multi-task and respond to customer support requests.
· Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical staff.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Excellent customer service skills.
Other Duties:
· Support emergency response efforts as needed, including preparedness activities.
· Conduct other activities about functions of the department as assigned by management.
