GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Trust Fund Program Coordinator reports to the State Housing Trust Fund Director at the Department of Community Affairs. In this role, the Coordinator provides program implementation support for Trust Fund funding opportunities, including the State Housing Accountability Program and others.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- 1-3 years of experience in housing policy or programs OR
- 1-3 years of experience in client or constituent services OR
- 1-3 years of experience in project management
- Strong work ethic and sense of ownership
- Demonstrated initiative and willingness to try new things
- Attention to detail and sharp critical thinking skills
- Exceptional ability to communicate, including written, verbal, and presentation format
Program development
- Provide annual reporting on program performance and outcomes
- Provide recommendations for programs to leadership
- Draft and/or maintain all program documents and guidelines
- Support Director in preparation for communication with the Commission
- Prepare and deliver updates to external partners in an electronic newsletter or other format
- Other duties as assigned
Program operations
- Plan and host training for providers
- Develop and provide guidance to providers on reimbursement processes
- Review and approve reimbursements
- Coordinate with internal financial/accounting partners to ensure timely payments to providers
- Develop and oversee program funding announcements, in coordination with the Director and other agency stakeholders
- Plan and host funding opportunity workshops for applicants
- Monitor and respond to program email inboxes
- Serve as point of contact for program operations to providers, applicants, and award recipients
- Other duties as assigned
Program monitoring and evaluation
- Conduct site-visits for all providers
- Ensure provider compliance with program guidelines, including Georgia statutes
- Review and analyze program data, provide regular performance reports to internal stakeholders
- Monitor all providers and award recipients for compliance with award agreements
- Maintain program budgets and accounting, including tracking all program award recipient disbursement requests and budget statuses
- Other duties as assigned
WORKING CONDITIONS (TRAVEL,HOURS,ENVIRONMENT)
This position is currently designated as a hybrid (part in-office and part remote/Telework) position. This position is full time (40 hours per week) and may require occasional overtime. Local periodic travel may be required.
PHYSICAL / SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Work is principally stationary, but the person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc., and constantly operates a computer and other office equipment.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Must be able to perform office-related duties.
Must be able to operate office equipment.
Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, tenants, and community agencies and other entities that provide services.
Must be able to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to perform essential job functions in an environment that will sometimes include increased levels of work-related stress.
Must maintain punctuality and attendance as scheduled.
