The State Accounting Office (SAO) provides accounting and financial reporting expertise for the State and is statutorily responsible for statewide financial reporting. The SAO also provides enterprise oversight and management of the State’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, accounting policy development, financial business process improvement recommendations, and management of the payroll and accounting shared service centers.
The IT Reporting Development Manager is responsible for managing the development of Workday reports, dashboards and analytics leveraging core Workday data as well as historical state data and unstructured data available in Workday Prism Analytics. This role will oversee the daily activities and tasks of a team of report developers ensuring reports are developed timely, accurately and delivered securely to all users.

Pay Grade: P
Salary Range: $76,821.60 - $101,879.70
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and five (5) years in a managerial or supervisory role; or seven (7) years in a managerial or supervisory role; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Mgr 3, Information Technology (ITM022) or position equivalent.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide oversight of team responsible for delivering a vast array of reports, dashboards and analytics. This includes but is not limited to:
· Lead and mentor a team of Workday / Prism report developers and analysts, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
· Design and develop efficient operational support processes throughout the department and oversee day-to-day operations
· Manage intake of requests ensuring timely, accurate and secure delivery of solutions
· Design, develop, and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics using advanced tools like Discovery Boards, Worksheets, and Workday Slides, as needed to ensure team provides timely delivery to end users
· Leverage Workday Prism Analytics to integrate, transform, and blend data from multiple sources
· Continuously improving reporting processes and tools, staying current with Workday releases and new features
· Partner with technical, training and release management teams to uptake and deliver new Workday functionality
· Research, resolve and respond to escalated problems / issues
· Partners with security and business analysis teams to research, test and resolve issues, as well as identify solutions and efficiencies
· Ensure work products marked as complete are submitted to change control board for approval
· Collaborate with release management team to ensure approved work products are migrated through the platform appropriately
· Design and develop efficient operational support processes throughout the department
· Define and communicate timelines and expectations to staff
· Develop, implement, and maintain standardized processes and practices to ensure alignment across all workstreams and business suites
· Ability to build team capabilities that will enable sustained success
Skills and Competencies:

Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in Workday Reporting, Prism Analytics and blending unstructured data
- Mastery of Workday Report Writer and calculated fields
- Experience with Worksheets for spreadsheet-style analysis
- Strong understanding of Workday security and data governance
- 8+yrs of experience in IT and
- 5+yrs of managerial experience
- 3+ yrs of Workday Report Writer and/or Prism Analytics. Experience with Workday HCM, Finance and/or Procurement
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field required
