Grounds Maintenance Tech Supervisor

Summary: 

Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff. Landscapes or maintains grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Under limited supervision, manage, coordinate and make assignment to complete repairs and installations of task which does not require license/certification to complete. 

- Supervise and plan the daily work of assigned staff to ensure requests are addressed timely and completed promptly with minimal impact upon the program’s operations. 

- Advise program supervisors of needed repairs or reevaluation for cost savings for future planning. 

- Ensure assigned staff are adequately trained in the use and safety precautions of power equipment. 

- Evaluate jobs to determine if it is best served to refer out or is in the skillset and safety of the assigned staff.

 - Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
