POSITION SUMMARY: Under supervision of the Licensing Supervisor, the Licensing Analyst is responsible for compiling application documents into the appropriate form and completing reviews of these applications as they are received in the Board office.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:   

  • Be under the supervision of the Licensing Supervisor
  • Communicate accurately the requirements for licensure, examinations and all required documents to all applicants as needed as directed by the Licensing Supervisor
  • Conduct the initial review of all applications within seven (7) business days for receipt of the application.
  • Prepare correspondence to applicants to indicate any application deficiencies by an applicant.
  • Acknowledge receipt of a complaint within seven (7) business days of receipt to the Complainant and request additional information if needed.
  • Conduct research to provide information needed to generate reports and complete projects as directed by the Licensing Supervisor
  • Attend all Board Meetings.  Provide information on any licensee as needed by the Board.
  • Make recommendations to the Licensing Supervisor on matters related to the application process, if changes are identified by the Licensure Analyst.
  • Process all name changes and address changes within five (5) business days of receipt
  • Assist with other matters as directed by the Licensing Supervisor

 

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS and ABILITIES:

·         Ability to prioritize time and resources among primary projects of responsibilities.

·         Ability to use business software and computer applications.

·         Knowledge of statutory and/or regulatory requirements.

·         Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Three (3) years of related experience in an office setting.   Intermediate proficiency using various software products to include but not limited to Microsoft Office. 

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Associate degree from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of job-related experience; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Compliance Business Analyst 2 (RCP031) or position equivalent.
