MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicant must have a master’s degree in biology with a minimum of two graduate courses in gross anatomy or a master’s degree in a closely related field with a minimum of 18 semester or 30 quarter graduate hours in biology with a minimum of two graduate courses in gross anatomy from a regionally accredited college or university.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctorate in biology with a concentration in human anatomy from a regionally accredited college or university or a doctorate from a regionally accredited college or university in one of the following fields: medicine (MD), veterinary medicine (DVM), or chiropractic (DC).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Teach on-campus and online classes and laboratories in anatomy and physiology, microbiology, and / or general biology, both during the day and evening.
· Prepare lesson plans for both classroom and online instruction.
· Develop program curriculum, syllabi, goals, and objectives.
· Evaluate students’ progress in achieving goals and objectives.
· Assess student learning outcomes.
· Manage laboratories, including ordering lab supplies and maintaining all required documentation and administrative reports.
· Ensure compliance with all lab safety measures.
· Attend various professional development training sessions.
· Participate in departmental, college, and state faculty meetings.
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
· Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

SALARY:
This is a part-time position without insurance benefits; work hours will not exceed 29 per week. Hourly rate is commensurate with education and work experience.
SPECIAL NOTES:
It shall be a condition of employment to submit to a background investigation. Offers of employment shall be conditional pending the result of the background investigation.
