As part of the Erosion and Sedimentation Unit of the Nonpoint Source Program-Environmental Protection Division-Department of Natural Resources, the incumbent in this position will review documents and perform field investigations relative to Erosion and Sediment Control. Documents to review include Erosion, Sedimentation and Pollution Control Plans. The position requires conducting field investigations to verify State water determinations and buffer requirements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with principles of erosion and sedimentation 
Knowledge of Georgia's NPDES Construction Stormwater Permits
Knowledge of stream identification methods and watersheds
Level 2 Erosion and Sedimentation Certification 
Knowledge of stream buffer requirements 
Field Experience 

Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics, geology, engineering, or other closely related field from an accredited college or university.
