The Georgia Department of Labor is currently seeking applicants to fill multiple UI Claims Examiner positions in the Central Non- Mon Claims Unit.
The positions are located at 148 Andrew Young International Blvd. NE, Atlanta, Georgia, 30303.

The UI Claims Examiner completes duties to support unemployment insurance program including conducting fact-finding interviews and providing customer service for determination issued.
Essential Function and Responsibilities:
Conducts an average of 15-17 fact-finding interviews per day.
Enters all fact-finding information onto the mainframe system.
Adjudicates claims with an 80% accuracy rate in accordance with the BTQ standards.
Provides internal and external customer service regarding determinations issued.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's degree in a related field
One year experience processing unemployment insurance or other insurance claims
One year experience as a Claims Examiner Associate
One year experience as a DOL Service Specialist
One year of experience working as a Paralegal or law office experience
