Housekeeper - Full and Part Time positions - ADC Garden City

**This announcement may be used to fill all current or future full-time and part-time Housekeeper openings at the Air Dominance Center in Garden City.**

 

The Air Dominance Center (ADC) provides Combat Readiness Training to deploying military personnel from all ove4r the world.  As Georgia's Air National Guard's largest training center, the ADC operates 18 lodging facilities, a military dining facility and multiple conference centers with classrooms.  The Housekeeping staff are responsible for the overall cleanliness of the lodging facilities, conference rooms, restrooms, and offices to ensure guest satisfaction.

 

Additional Duties may include:

 

  • Rearranging furniture
  • Setting up conference centers for groups
  • Decorating
  • Inventory Control
  • Laundry
  • Operates agency motor vehicle responsibly and in manner intended while observing standard safety and driving rules and regulations. .

 
Selected applicant is required to possess a current valid driver's license.

 

Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to those applicants who in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications also have a minimum of one year of work experience in housekeeping, facilities maintenance or any combination of cleaning and maintenance experience.
 
Additional Information: Selected applicant must meet the following standards:

 

  1.  Must pass a pre-employment background check (which includes criminal records check, driver's history, and verification of work history) and a post-hire federal background investigation.
  2. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and will be placed in the pool for the State Random Drug Testing Program.
  3. Eligible to work in the U.S.
  4. Able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
