The Georgia Department of Labor is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill the DOL Services Specialist position in the Claims Administration Unit.
The positions are located at 148 Andrew Young International Blvd. NE, Atlanta, Georgia, 30303.

The DOL Services Specialist, under limited supervision, performs a variety of professional functions related to the processing of claims.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Processes interstate claims
Verifies wages for the establishment/reconsideration of weekly benefits amounts
Completes child support calculations
Processes partial claims and payments
Researches claim statuses and exceptions
Directs customers to appropriate departments and administrations
Assists with answering phone calls in a high-volume work environment
Responds to emails
Provides data entry and clerical support as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University or College
Two years experience processing unemployment insurance claims
Two years experience as a DOL Services Specialist Assistant or Clerk II
One year experience answering phones and/or performing clerical duties in a high-volume work environment
