Data & Compliance Analyst

The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking highly qualified applicants for their fulltime Data & Compliance Analyst in the Office of Technical Education. Reporting to the Executive Director of Georgia Online Learning & Development, this position will evaluate adherence to standards through data review. This position will evaluate and monitor the success of various technical initiatives, including but not limited to, college academic programs and shared resource model programs and communicate opportunities for enhancement in these areas. The Data & Compliance Analyst will work closely with the Executive Director to develop strategies for communicating trends in data for decision-making.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Regularly access and review KMS reporting and TCSG policy manual to ensure compliance with divisional objectives
• Remains abreast of industry regulations and reports relevant updates to division leadership
• Collaborate with the GOLD Director to monitor compliance and standard objectives within the LMS
• Collaborate with the Student Affairs to monitor compliance and standard objectives regarding Accessibility
• Collaborate with legal and financial aid to ensure compliance with legal and federal regulations related to higher education at large
• Creates and administers assessments to identify vulnerabilities in procedures
• Maintains technical initiatives reporting for internal stakeholders
• Assists in the development and facilitation of data reporting presentations for key stakeholders
• Serves as primary point of contact for TCSG micro-credentialing management for Technical Education with technical support from the Enterprise Applications Integration Coordinator
• Responds to and resolves helpdesk tickets
• Other duties and special projects as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field *and* One (1) year of work related experience *OR* Associate degree in a related field *and* Three (3) years of work related experience
Note: Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Atlassian/Confluence Administrator Experience
· Learning Management System Administration experience (Blackboard, Canvas, D2L)
- Digital Education Facilitation Experience
- Advance Microsoft Suite including Forms and PowerAutomate
- Customer Service/Helpdesk Experience
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
• Ability to research and design queries and reports
• Knowledge of operational procedures
• Capacity to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
• Excellent technical/technology/computer skills
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Experience in usage of webinar type platforms
• Ability to develop solutions based on analysis
• Proficiency in developing detailed presentations for consumption by multiple stakeholder audiences
• Superior prioritization, time management, communication and organizational skills
• Solid technology know-how, including the ability to quickly familiarize with new products
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and communicate barriers to progress
