Employment Terms: This job is a full-time, benefited, non-exempt position in the Student Affairs Division that reports to the Manager of Dual Enrollment. This position’s primary location will be the Lawrenceville Campus and could occasionally report to the Alpharetta North-Fulton Campus.

 

Salary: Targeted salary is commensurate with education and experience not to exceed the budgeted amount of $54,080/YR

 

Schedule: Typical schedule for this position is 40 hours per week; Monday-Thursday 8:00-5:00 and Friday 8:00-4:00. Requires a flexible schedule of evenings and occasional Saturdays that may fluctuate based on need.

 

Minimum Qualifications (Job Code 80833): Associate's degree from an academic institution accredited by an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education*and* Three (3) years of related experience 

  Note: An equivalent combination of education and job specific experience that provided the knowledge, experience and competencies required to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted on a year-over-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications: 

· At least two years of dual enrollment experience

· Experience in post-secondary education using a student information system such as BANNER and TargetX.

- Experience with GaFutures, GaTraks and related dual enrollment program policies

- Candidate should also be able to stand for long periods of time as well as lift/carry items up to 20lbs.

 

Job Description Summary:

Under general supervision, the Coordinator of Dual Enrollment plays a significant role in the implementation of ongoing initiatives related to recruiting and enrolling students for dual enrollment opportunities.  The Coordinator of Dual Enrollment will work collaboratively with all college divisions to ensure timely and efficient movement of prospects from application through admission, academic course requests registration, advisement during the semester, transcript/grade sharing to secondary partners and additional functions as needed. The Coordinator of Dual Enrollment will work collaboratively with secondary partners to provide information and assistance as needed.

Coordinate application assistance and registration assistance at high schools

Determine and notify accepted but not registered students

Facilitate monthly dual enrollment information sessions and breakout sessions at New Student Orientation

Coordinate campaigns to educate dual enrollment students on becoming a beginning student

Determine and notify of course registration for students not in a high school cohort

Assists in answering phone calls, voicemails, e-mails and text messages in a timely manner

Verifies that each student is in the appropriate program of study based on schedule of classes and that each student's classes are within the program of study for financial aid purposes
