Central Office (Gang/Rico) – Traveling Assistant Public Defender II
The Central Office is seeking to hire a Traveling Assistant Public Defender II, in the Gang Rico Unit. Applicants must meet the qualifications and have the necessary skills to perform the job duties and responsibilities for the position. Primary duties include representing indigent individuals with criminal cases. The candidate selected must display dedication to indigent defense. Applicants must be a current member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia.

Description of Duties: The Traveling Assistant Public Defender II will provide competent and zealous representation and advocacy to indigent clients. This position performs beginning-level professional legal work and also requires the ability to travel across the state to handle cases for the Gang Unit, whereas Attorneys are assigned to serious, high-profile, and significant felony cases throughout the state. Performs other related duties as assigned.
