The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking highly qualified applicants for their full-time Training Systems Coordinator position within the Office of Workforce Development. The position will be located at the TCSG System Office (1800 Century Place NE, Atlanta, GA 30345). 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

 Serve as primary learning management system administrator. Validate all training records, user profiles, and maintain data integrity for all internal and external users. Lead all learning management system updates and expansion of usage to ensure quality deliverables and high adoption rates. Serve as vendor management lead and address all technical support issues as needed. Work with training, data systems, customer service, and programs teams to design, develop, and implement quality online training programs, or other duties as assigned.

 

Some travel will be required for this role as needed.

 

Additional duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
 

·        Support the Creation of Online Content in Rapid Development Environment: Create quality online learning content using blended materials to meet user needs across all business units.

·        Coordinate Learning Management Systems (LMS): Manage and upload courses, track learner progress, and monitor the effectiveness of training programs using LMS tools.

·        Evaluate and Revise OWD Programs: Work with training team to continuously assess and improve the quality of training programs by analyzing feedback, learner outcomes, and performance data.

·        Collaborate with SMEs: Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevancy of course content and provide guidance on instructional best practices.

·        Stay Current with Trends: Keep up to date with the latest learning management system and other learning-related trends and integrate best practices within the organization.

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

 Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of related experience OR four years of relevant work experience.  Related work experience can be a combination of training, delivery and design.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

·         Knowledge of the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) and related Wagner-Peyser (WP) Act.

·         Experience with delivery of Employment Services and related grant activities such as JVSG.

·         Knowledge of state and federal regulations.

 

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

·         Knowledge of Instructional Design Models: Strong understanding of design models like ADDIE, SAM, or other relevant frameworks.

·         Technical Proficiency: Experience with eLearning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud) and LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Absorb).

·         Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly convey complex information and instructions in both written and verbal formats.

·         Attention to Detail: Ability to produce high-quality instructional materials that are engaging, clear, and error-free.

·         Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

·         Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess learning challenges and propose effective solutions.

·         Application of Artificial Intelligence Tools: Ability to identify effective usage tools and applications related to AI in learning and development.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORK CONDITIONS

  • Work is primarily performed in an office environment during standard business hours. Limited remote work may be available in accordance with agency policy and operational needs.
  • Work performance involves light physical duties, including intermittent sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Employees must be able to lift up to ten (10) pounds.
