Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer science, cybersecurity, computer engineering or related information technology science. - Experience in a state government, public sector, or large enterprise environment. - Demonstrated supervisory or managerial experience leading technical teams. - Experience in a Georgia Enterprise Technology Services (GETS) environment. - Demonstrated experience in vendor/contract management. Job Functions: - Provides leadership for IT operations, including end user support, asset management, service desk functions, field services, and wireless device support. - Directs the day-to-day delivery of enterprise technology services to ensure operational stability and service continuity. - Oversees incident management, problem resolution, service request management, and escalation procedures. - Establishes and monitors service standards, operational metrics, and performance expectations. - Oversees staffing, workload management, and the performance of assigned operational personnel. - Assists with budget development, vendor coordination, and contract administration as assigned. - Ensures operational practices are aligned with security, compliance, and organizational requirements.
