Job Title: Purchase/Procurement Process Manager- Atlanta
Pay Grade: L
Workplace: Hybrid- 1 day per week in office located in downtown Atlanta.
Travel: None.
Job Summary:
Under limited supervision, this position performs various procurement and contract administration duties. These duties include, but are not limited to the following:
· Assists in the development of documents such as Request for Quotes (RFQs), Sole Source and Request for Proposals (RFPs). Creates and posts solicitation in Team Georgia Marketplace and/or the Georgia Procurement Registry. Participates in the vendor response evaluation process. Conducts analysis of vendor responses.
· Assists Divisions/Hospitals/Offices in writing bid specifications for procurement of services, goods and commodities.
· Collaborates with Budget and Program Offices to determine appropriate solicitation development decisions.
· Initiates and manages the bid process according to established procedures and professional standards.
· Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
GCPM- Georgia Certified Purchasing Manager
Preferred Qualifications:
· 3 – 5 years procurement and /or contracting experience in the public sector
· 2+ year PeopleSoft Financials software experience
· Experience with posting to the Georgia Procurement Registry
· GCPM - Georgia Certified Purchasing Manager
