The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is currently seeking candidates for the position of Payroll Coordinator in Human Resources at Georgia Regional Hospital - Atlanta, located in Decatur, GA.
· Serve as primary contact for Kronos system management, issues and concerns for Georgia Regional Hospital and Regions One and Three
· Process and enter payroll/position transactions, docks and adjustments, termination actions and information, and enrollments by established deadlines
· Reconcile and resolve payroll issues, errors and discrepancies as necessary prior to deadlines
· Review, develop and implement efficient work processes for accurate and effective handling and processing of payroll and position actions
· Comply with and ensure all Payroll deadlines are met
· Run and complete Payroll and HR related reports, queries and genies
· Answer questions from employees or management regarding personnel and payroll transactions
· Process/maintain leave records and information (as backup).
Description:
1. Process employees' leave requests according to established deadlines
2. Accurately calculate all leave taken and accrued leave in accordance with policies and procedures
3. Properly initiate personnel actions for employees on leave without pay before payroll deadline
4. Appropriately resolve leave-related issues before leave keeping deadlines
5. Accurately enter leave-related data into computer within established time frames and deadline
6. Respond to inquiries about organization and employees.
