Savannah Technical College is seeking qualified candidates for a Data Entry Assistant. The Data Entry Assistant manages multiple databases to meet the information needs of the Adult Education division and unit.  

Job Duties

Under general supervision, duties include using data collection and entry techniques (forms, computer screens, reports formats) to collect data and generate reports; maintain records and records-keeping systems; completes tasks and assignments associated with administrative support functions, i.e., distributing mail, maintaining calendars, scheduling appointments, ordering supplies; serves as communications link between assigned organizational unit and internal and external stakeholders; completes complex processing of transactions for assigned organizational unit; Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s degree in a related area *OR* High school diploma or equivalent *and* Three (3) years of work related experience.

Physical Demands

Work is typically performed in a tutoring center or office environment with the employee intermittently sitting, standing, or walking in various settings. The employee occasionally lifts objects of a light to medium weight, up to 25lbs.  

Salary/Benefits

Salary is commensurate with education and work experience. Positions are contingent upon funding.
