Logistic Technician
This job is a full time, benefited, FLSA non-exempt position in the Technology & Operations that reports to the Facilities Manager.
Salary: Targeted salary is commensurate with education and experience, not to exceed the budgeted amount of $34,040.00 per year.
Scheduled Hours:
Day position: Monday through Friday 7::00am – 4:00 pm with occasional Saturdays and on-call rotation

Any combination of training and experience which would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
In addition to the minimum qualifications, minimum of six months experience performing custodial or minimal maintenance duties. Ability to lift and push 50lbs
Job Description Summary:
Under general supervision, supports facilities operations at Gwinnett Technical College by performing light‑duty maintenance and logistics tasks. Responsibilities include cleaning and sweeping mechanical rooms, moving maintenance materials, installing ceiling tiles, assisting technicians with tools and supplies, and conducting routine inspections of minor equipment. The role also handles trash removal, job‑site cleanup, occasional custodial support, event and furniture setup, light bulb replacement, basic painting, door hardware changes, and cleaning roof drains to help maintain safe and orderly campus facilities. Assist other divisions within the Facilities Department, as needed.

Prepares and maintains campus facilities by setting up, arranging, and relocating tables, chairs, carts, ladders, tools, and other equipment needed to support maintenance activities. Assists with organizing and staging materials at job sites to ensure technicians have the necessary resources for efficient completion of work. | 7.5% |
