Under general supervision, the Agents Licensing Analyst reviews licensing and renewal applications requirements for compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, and policies, including supporting documents for background checks, education and testing requirements, history reports, and other reports as required to determine eligibility for licensure.
Reviews and processes applicant fingerprints registration and history reports, citizenship affidavits and background information to ensure compliance for insurance agents and agency licenses.
Provides administrative support for the division, processes a variety of documentation associated with departmental operations within a designed timeframe and per established procedures.
Assists applicants, licensees and other individuals or groups concerning licensing, laws, rules and regulations and policies.
Analyzes problems, questions, issues, and develops and reports recommendations for resolution.
Uses independent judgment and knowledge of laws, rules and regulations and policies, as those pertain to processing license requests.
Conducts research to compile information needed to generate reports, complete projects, and accurately respond to questions and concerns.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
