This position is in the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) East Central District Office in Augusta, Georgia. The Licensing Tech assists Environmental Compliance Specialists and other customers by supporting the District Office's data entry, database maintenance and by providing customer service to permitted and unpermitted facilities associated with the Acts, Rules, and Regulations that the District Office oversees for Land, Air and Water in the 17 county territory.
Preference may be given to candidates with the following:
- Experience with data entry and database management
- Experience in the interpretation and application of state and federal regulations
- Experience in dealing with the public
- Good communication skills in technical matters
- Ability to complete assignments in an efficient and accurate manner.
