The Licensed Clinical Manager is responsible for leading the (Assertive Community Treatment) ACT Team.

ACT is an Evidence Based Practice that is client-centered, recovery-oriented, and a highly intensive community based service for individuals who have serious and persistent mental illness.  ACT utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to mental health service delivery to individuals with serious and persistent mental illness that significantly impairs their stability and functioning in their natural environments.  The goal of ACT is to provide structure and stability while reducing incidents of psychiatric inpatient admissions, incarcerations, and use of emergency rooms for mental health crises.  Individuals will learn to manage symptoms of their mental illness.  Individuals receiving ACT should experience increases in their social interactions, vocational / educational activities, housing stability, and abilities to manage personal affairs.  There should be subsequent decreases in mental health crises.
