Lanier Technical College – (www.laniertech.edu) is gearing up for increased student enrollment for both Spring Semester (January 13th). Therefore, we are conducting a search now for the following part-time, non-benefits eligible, FLSA non-exempt position. NOTE: A background check is part of the selection process. POSITION: PART-TIME EMT/PARAMEDIC LAB ASSISTANT - HALL CAMPUS
• Tutor or mentor students
• Accompany instructor/students to clinical setting and evaluate student performance, as needed
• Clean labs as needed
• Obtain materials needed for classes, including texts and other materials
• Assist with special projects or initiatives as needed.
• Attention to detail
• Ability to learn new software and hardware applications
• Ability to manage time
• Quality management skills
• Customer service skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills times.
• Assist with special projects or initiatives as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Successful completion of State approved Advanced EMT or higher course(s);
Preferred Qualifications
• Instructor in NAEMT and AHA disciplines.
NOTE: This is a temporary, part-time position that is appointed on a per-academic-term basis. This is an hourly-paid position; up to 29 hours per week while classes are in session; Monday - Thursday workweek.
