Human Resources Coordinator
Georgia Piedmont Technical College is a public community college based in Clarkston, Georgia. It is part of the Technical College System of Georgia and provides education for a three-county service area, mostly in the metro Atlanta area. The school's service area includes Dekalb, Rockdale, and Newton counties.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of one or more human resources functional areas for the college. Provides information about employee benefits for new hires and existing employees, including flexible benefits, health benefits, open enrollment, and employee leave. Coordinates and processes Flexible Benefits packages for new employees as well as open enrollment periods in compliance with state and federal laws. Reviews and processes personnel and/or position transactions, including coding for payroll, and preparing separation notices. Maintains files and records. Completes required monthly transaction reports. Coordinates, reviews, and supports the recruiting, benefits, payroll and leave process. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications:
· Associate degree or a closely related field from an accredited college or university *and *
· Three (3) years of full-time work experience in human resources area of responsibility.
