Job Title:  Human Resources Business Analyst- Atlanta

 

Pay Grade: L

  

Job Summary:

 

Hiring Salary – 65,000 – 68,000

The HR Business Analyst analyzes customer’s business needs and participates in the analysis, design and implementation of enterprise Human Resources (HR) systems and workflows; serves as a liaison between users, developers and the HR Community; and supports changes resulting from hybrid work, electronic storage of documents, on and off-boarding processes, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with business staff to thoroughly understand the needs to be supported by the information systems and technology.
  • Determines how changes to the project will affect the outcomes.
  • Negotiates plans and timeframes, ensuring that clients understand the anticipated result.
  • Communicates detailed specifications for implementation.
  • Produce reports, timelines, and graphics to communicate expectations and progress to management, customers, and other relevant parties.
  • Maintains and ensures proper documentation and coordinates or performs testing of system modifications.
  • Collaborates with the Senior Human Resources Manager to ensure the needs of the client have been met.
  • Performs data sampling, project analysis, testing verification, and other requests as needed.
  • Maintains current understanding of industry standards, trends, and best practices through industry and other professional networks.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software program(s).
  • Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead, facilitate, motivate, and organize.
  • Ability to adapt to change.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and to creatively solve new problems.
  • Ability to negotiate and settle differences quickly and peacefully.
  • Ability to act as a team player.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

           Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND one year of related experience. 

2+ years project management or business analysis related to the implementation of HR applications or systems across the enterprise. 

            2+ years of human resources experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of related experience; or two (2) years of experience at the lower level IT Business Analyst 2 (ITP061) or position equivalent.
