Job Summary:
The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is currently seeking full time Housekeeper 2 to maintain sanitation and cleanliness for our jail based competency restoration program which will be based onsite in Dodge County, Georgia.
- Performs any combination of duties to maintain order, sanitation, and cleanliness in facilities.
- Maintains supplies as needed. Operates hand tools and power cleaning equipment.
- Observes required safety precautions in disposing of contaminated refuse. Maintains and stocks equipment and supplies as needed.
- Ensures laundry, housekeeping and floor equipment is in good working condition. Collects, sorts, launders, transports and distributes linens and uniforms.
- Cleans and straightens assigned areas
- Experience working in an institutional/healthcare setting
- One or more years working in housekeeping
- Experience working as a LEAD or Supervisor
