At McIntosh Trail Community Service Board, we offer individuals experiencing symptoms associated with mental illness, addictive disease and/or developmental disability the hope for optimal functioning and recovery by providing quality behavioral health services and supports.

Summary

Serve as the primary clinical liaison for the Forensic Wait-List Pilot, focusing on waitlist diversion for individuals in the Henry County Jail.

Responsibilities

·         Coordinate case consultations between DBHDD and McIntosh Trail Community Service Board to divert individuals found incompetent to stand trial (IST) who are awaiting hospital placement. This will include visitation to the Henry County Jail.

·         Develop comprehensive treatment plans to be presented to the judge as conditions of bond.

·         Facilitate access to appropriate services, including the coordination of long-acting injectable (LAI) medications where necessary.

·         Provide regular updates to the court regarding individual compliance with treatment conditions.

Minimum Qualifications

·         Licensed in the state of Georgia as an LCSW or LPC.

·         Experience in Community Service Board or community-based behavioral health services.

·         Experience with SPMI/forensic population

High school diploma/GED and one (1) year of job-related experience; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Forensics Tech 1 (LST040) or position equivalent.
