- Performs job responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Cleans work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware.
- Cleans, peels, slices and trims foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances.
- Coordinates the daily work schedule of workers with the dining room manager.
- Properly stores food by adhering to DBHDD food safety policies, procedures, and sanitation
- Serves as a lead worker to assigned service workers.
- Maintains positive attitude towards individuals (patients) co-workers, etc.
- Trains workers in food preparation, and in service, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Three(3) year of work experience as an assistant in preparing, cooking and serving food in a food service operation

1. Must pass a pre-employment background check (which includes criminal records check, driver's history, and verification of work history) and a post-hire federal background investigation.
