Shift:  2pm - 10:30pm


Job Summary:

Under supervision, guards, patrols, or monitors premises, facilities and other areas to prevent theft, violence, and infractions of rules. 

Job Descriptions:

  • Secures and protects facility in case of fires, natural disasters, or other hazardous events. Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities. 
  • Responds to fires, natural disasters, or other hazardous events. Patrols premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. 
  • Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against and maintain security of premises. Inspects assigned area for fire or environmental hazards.
  •  Maintain appropriate log of daily activities irregularities on computer, ability to identify signs of unlawful entry, patrol assigned areas, operates alarm panels, handle crisis situations according to established guidelines.

  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One (1) year of Law Enforcement/Security experience 
  • Peace Officer Certified or eligible
  • Customer service oriented, clerical, and admin skills a plus 
  • Experience writing reports 
  • Valid Georgia Driver License

High school diploma or GED. Note. Some positions may require P.O.S.T. certification.
