The Georgia Department of Labor is accepting applications to fill the Cybersecurity Specialist 2 position in the IT Mainframe Support Division at the Georgia Department of Labor Headquarters in downtown Atlanta, Ga.
Job Summary
Under general supervision, aligns all information security compliancy activities to ensure the agency is compliant with all federal and state security requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Serves as lead member for all reporting to federal partners.
Ensures all policies and procedures align with IRS, SSA, and current NIST 800-53 revisions.
Performs, reviews, and guides various IT teams on technical vulnerability and compliancy assessments.
Works with various levels of agency personnel to ensure that business needs and information security objectives are met.
