Salary: $30,700.42 to $47,094.70

 

The Georgia Department of Public Safety (DPS) oversees the day-to-day operation of the Georgia State Patrol (GSP), Capitol Police Division (CPD) and the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division (CVE). We currently have a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Customer Service Rep 1 in the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Headquarters office.

 

This is a fast paced, high volume work environment that offers the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of customers. This position will provide a challenging opportunity without compromising work/life balance and includes an excellent benefits package and the potential for a flexible work schedule.

 

Critical Responsibilities:

Is responsible for a variety of general office duties including inquiries over the telephone and in person, word processing and retrieval, maintaining accurate and detailed records and verifying accuracy of information.

 

A typical workday includes, but is not limited to:

  • Greets and serves as the first point of contact for inquiries.
  • Analyzes problems, questions, issues, etc. and develops and reports recommendations for resolving them.
  • Provides professional and courteous service to all customers.
  • Provide clerical support and other related duties as assigned.

 

  

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in a high-volume customer/call service center.
  • Experience working with internal customers across multiple departments.
