Customer Service Associate 2
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, the Customer Service Associate 2 receives and handles a high volume of calls ranging from general information to inquiries about suspended / revoked driver licenses and provides accurate information regarding how to reinstate a license. This position provides accurate and timely information to the general public, other agencies, courts, or businesses and ensures privacy is maintained. The Customer Service Associate 2 accurately enters driver record information to determine eligibility and obtains and records pertinent data for the driver record; provides accurate and specific information to drivers regarding any law, policy, or procedure impacting the driver record; and provides high levels of customer service while handling difficult situations. The Customer Service Associate 2 answers and directs calls in order to respond to questions and provide assistance to all callers; uses available guidelines and maintains an accurate file of memo’s, procedures, and materials.
This position is located in Conyers, Georgia
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED AND One (1) year of full-time work experience providing customer support or technical assistance within the last three (3) years
Preferred Qualifications: Preferences will be given to those applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, also possess one or more of the following:
• One (1) year of experience handling or processing driver’s license transactions with proficiency – emphasis on suspensions and reinstatements
• Two (2) years of high-volume call center experience
• Three (3) years of customer service experience
• Preference will be given to bilingual applicants
A pre-employment background check is required for the selected candidate.
Conditions of Employment: A valid Georgia driver’s license is required and must be maintained while employed in this position. Non-Georgia residents must have a recognized equivalent license.
