The Georgia Department of Revenue seeks a Customer Service Rep to support its mission of administering state tax laws efficiently and fairly. The role involves working in a high-volume contact center answering calls, responding to emails, and utilizing contact center technology and other tools to service customers. Duties include but are not limited to:

·       Utilizing call scripts to ensure customers receive accurate and consistent information

·       Working with the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and DRIVES systems to manage tasks such as creating, reviewing, and updating customer contact interactions

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED and one year of experience communicating information in a customer service setting.

Preferred qualifications include one year of contact center experience and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

*DOR temporary associates must have completed at least 6 consecutive months on the current assignment to be considered. 

Salary: $39,728

Location: DOR South Metro - 4125 Welcome All Rd, Atlanta GA 30349 *This is not a remote position and will require a daily in-office schedule of 8am – 4:45pm Monday to Friday. Start time may be adjusted to 7:30am as needed.
