The State Accounting Office (SAO) provides accounting and financial reporting expertise for the State and is statutorily responsible for statewide financial reporting. The SAO also provides enterprise oversight and management of the State’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, accounting policy development, financial business process improvement recommendations, and management of the payroll and accounting shared service centers.
Position Description:
Under general supervision the Vendor Management Compliance Monitor position is responsible for providing support to the vendor management team, performing prescreening supplier maintenance tasks, providing customer support to TeamWorks business units, suppliers, and customers. This incumbent will conduct various data verifications and examine documents to ensure compliance with State policies and procedures. The Compliance Monitor position will interface with third parties for independent verification of data.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides customer service support to address all Supplier Masterfile changes including processing and validating banking request, identifying duplicate and inactive supplier, miscoded supplier classes, tax income codes and opportunities for electronic payments methods.

Minimum Qualifications:
This position will be filled at a level commensurate with the selectee’s education and experience at one of the following levels.
Compliance Monitor 1 – RCT070
Pay Grade: G
Salary range: $33,042.45 - $42,703.38
High school diploma/GED and one (1) year of experience performing office work, conducting research, or reviewing policy.
Compliance Monitor 2 – RCT071
Pay Grade: H
Salary range: $35,618.70 - $46,245.72
High school diploma/GED and three (3) years of experience in a technical job related to the area of assignment. A valid driver's license may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference may be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the Minimum Qualifications, possess the following:
- TeamWorks or other ERP Business application experience (Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.)
- Technical job experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team and
- Good analytical ability

The SAO offers flexible work hours in a hybrid in-office/remote work environment.
