Under supervision, the Community Risk Reduction Educator Supervisor leads a team of educators in the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs designed to reduce risk and enhance public safety. This role focuses on community engagement, fire and injury prevention, life safety education, and data-driven risk reduction strategies.
Supervise, train, and support a team of Community Risk Reduction Educators.
Assist with planning and delivery of public education programs, including fire safety, disaster preparedness, fall prevention, and engagement.
Manage program scheduling, outreach logistics, and performance metrics.
Collect and analyze community risk data to tailor outreach strategies to target populations.
Coordinate with division staff, emergency responders, schools, nonprofits, and local government agencies.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety standards, as well as NFPA guidelines.
Represent the department at community meetings, safety fairs, and stakeholder collaborations.
Assist with the evaluation of program effectiveness through surveys, data analysis, and community feedback; prepare reports and recommendations.
Respond to public inquiries related to public education efforts.
Perform other duties as assigned.
