Shift:  8am - 5pm

Job Summary:

Under general supervision,  the Beautician/Barber functions as a working level Client Support Worker, assists with daily living activities at the person's home, in a daytime non-residential facility or a residential facility. Observes and monitors client's behavior and charts observations and incidents. 

Job Duties:

• Provide services to individuals on all the units of the hospital
• Provide haircuts, shaving services, and other grooming needs  and communicating with appropriate staff to support functioning of a beautician services.
• Maintain a schedule for all units
• Order supplies/equipment necessary for grooming

Preferred Qualifications:

Must have a current Cosmetology License. Experience working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities or Mental Health issues/or in a psychiatric setting.
