Description: The Business Office Technician is responsible for providing technical and clerical duties for the Business Office.
· Responsible for entry into TeamWorks Asset Management Module for additions, modifications, transfers, disposals, and deletions of inventory/property items.
· Makes daily entry into the TeamWorks Purchasing Module for receipt of all items received by the college for payment.
· Reconciles TeamWorks bank accounts monthly.
· Provides backup for purchasing, including vendor maintenance.
· P-Card ordering and balancing.
· Maintains the Concur system for travel-related expenses.
· Bookstore backup for Currahee and Clarkesville locations, and bookstore inventory as needed.
· Serves as the small business liaison.
· Receiving backup for accounts payable.
· Monitors and maintains deliveries, supplies, and other department specific items.
· Works with Accounting Director on clerical needs.
· Other duties as assigned.

· Oral and written communication skills
· Proficiency in Windows applications (Word, Excel), Internet, and job-related software
· Ability to prioritize work demands so deadlines are completed in a timely manner
· Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with the public
· Knowledge of the operation of a variety of office machinery and equipment
· Organizational skills
Minimum Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· 6 months of office experience
Preferred Qualifications:
· Accounting or Business Diploma or Degree *OR* 3 years of Office Experience
· Experience in data entry
