The Georgia Public Defender Council Finance Division is seeking to hire a Budget Analyst IV in the Central Office located in Atlanta, Georgia. Applicants must meet the qualifications and have the necessary skills to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. This position performs review and analysis of budget program and policy issues, analyzes financial trends or proposed legislation and recommends appropriate courses of action to management. The candidate must possess an Associate Degree in accounting, business/public administration, or finance from an accredited college or university. Experience in PeopleSoft, TeamWorks, and Budgeting is preferred.

Description of Duties: Serves in a lead role within the Accounts Receivable unit. Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries and reports. Maintains financial records and documentation, as well as responds to questions and requests for information from customers, auditors, employees, and others. Performs other duties as assigned.
