Associate - Customer Service
Employment Terms: This job is a full-time, benefited FLSA Non-exempt position in the Student Affairs Division that reports to the Executive Director of Enrollment Support. This position will work at the Lawrenceville location of Gwinnett Technical College.
Schedule: 40 hours per week: Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:30-6:00. Flexibility is a must.
Salary: $37, 564 yr. commensurate with education and experience
Minimum Qualifications (Job Code 61832):
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
In addition to the minimum qualifications, a diploma or two-year degree from a technical college. One to two years of experience in a call center or face to face customer service environment, including professional receptionist or office experience. Ability to follow oral and written instructions quickly and accurately. Possess ability to communicate with students from culturally diverse backgrounds. Knowledge of Microsoft word and ability to learn additional software packages. Willing to adjust hours during peak times. Bilingual is a plus. Prior experience as a full-time customer service representative within the last three years.

Job Description Summary:
Under general supervision, greets students and visitors, assists customers with inquiries, checks students into queue system, and signs walk-ins into queue system for the appropriate department. Performs clerical duties such as typing, researching students’ enrollment status, and other duties as assigned. In addition, this candidate must display a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operating effectively within the organizational structure; while demonstrating responsible and trustworthy behavior.
