Assistant Registrar
Under general supervision, provides clerical and administrative support to the registration, reporting and student records functions of a technical college. Enters data from forms, records, reports and/or other sources into the computerized student information system. Maintains or assists in maintaining student records. Assists co-workers with basic questions and problems relating to the computerized student information system. May collect class grades from instructional staff and issue quarterly student grade reports. May prepare orders for diplomas, caps, and gowns for graduation. Must be able to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Knowledge of FERPA/BANNER and the operations of a Registrar’s Office.
Must be able to travel to Covington and Clarkston campuses. Evening work may be required.

- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of both concrete and abstract ideas
- Generate, receive, and correct TCSG Knowledge Management System error reports for the college (Non-MIS)
- Serve as the main Point of Contact for Georgia Student Finance error reports and record corrections. (CHECS correction request, GA Futures student demographic correction, TCSG 830 - Missing transcript report, TCHECs and Z-Forms error reports, etc.)
- Correct database records transmitted through National Student Clearinghouse through manual input and error report requests.
- Assist in creating Standard Query Language (SQL) scripts to help audit and streamline graduation data and provide ad hoc reports as requested by the VP of Student Affairs and the Registrar
- Respond to record requests from various private and public agencies. (GSFC, Department of Defense, NSC, student requests, internal, etc.)
- Serve as the main supervisor for student assistants
- Review, evaluate and process CPH transcripts
- Review and process Badger credential release
- Review, evaluate and process transcript college and high school transcripts
- Knowledge of Target X and Banner
- Assist with process program change request
