Allied Health Science Adjunct Instructor-Evenings
Georgia Piedmont Technical College is currently seeking an experienced an experienced Allied Health Science Adjunct Instructor for evening courses. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in the field, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and have a commitment to preparing students for successful careers in the field of Allied Health. Under general supervision of the Dean of Allied Health, the adjunct instructor will provide instruction and guidance to students in the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program, to include:
The successful candidate must have the following current and valid credentials in good standing and must be maintained during employment: Bachelor degree in Allied Health field and a minimum of three years employment experience within the past seven years. Must also be certified as a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), or American Medical Technologist (AMT). Must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the courses assigned.
In addition to minimum qualifications, a Master’s degree from a nationally or regionally accredited college or university with course work in field instruction with a minimum of 18 graduate hours is preferred. At least one year of experience teaching an allied health subject and experience with computer assisted instruction and instructional technologies.
