Cherokee Judicial Circuit – Administrative Assistant II
The Cherokee Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office is seeking an Administrative Assistant II to serve Bartow County, City of Cartersville. Primary duties include performing a wide range of office administration tasks such as, communicate with clients, repare and file legal documents, manage cases, attend court and meetings. Additional duties include, but is not limited to, data entry, case management, and assisting in court. Applicants must meet the qualifications and have the necessary skills to perform the job duties and responsibilities for the position. Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, under minimal supervision, are essential. Paralegal experience or comparable skills in the field is preferred.

Description of Duties: The Administrative Assistant II will assist in overseeing day to day operations of the circuit as well as delivering legal pleadings to Circuit Courts, coordinating court calendars, and supporting attorneys. This position may serve as a primary contact and information source for the assigned unit or program. Performs other related duties as required.
