Adjunct Faculty Instructor - Business Technology
Employment Terms: This job is a part-time, non-benefited, FLSA Exempt/Professional position in Business Sciences Division that reports to the Program Director – Business Administrative Technology.
Salary - Targeted salary is paid in a lump sum based on contact hours taught.
Minimum Requirements (Job Code 10317) – Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline OR Associate’s degree in related discipline *AND* two years related work experience
Preferred Qualifications - Two years college teaching experience (face-to-face and/or online). Experience teaching utilizing the Blackboard Learning Management System. Five or more years work experience in field of medical billing and coding. Medical billing and/or coding certification. Microsoft Office Specialist Certifications

Job Description - Prepares and delivers lecture and/or lab course material for the following types of courses: Medical Administrative Procedures and Medical Office Billing/Coding/Insurance. Prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction for general core courses. Evaluates students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives. Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports. Ensures safety and security requirements are met in the training area. Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operates effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrates trustworthiness and responsible behavior. Accepts direction and feedback from supervisor and follows through appropriately. Assists with recruitment retention and job placement efforts.
