About McIntosh Trail 

At McIntosh Trail Community Service Board, we offer individuals experiencing symptoms associated with mental illness, addictive disease and/or developmental disability the hope for optimal functioning and recovery by providing quality behavioral health services and supports. 

 

Summary 

Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff. Supervises, coordinates and directs the social service activities of a program. Provide persons, families or vulnerable populations with the psychosocial support needed to cope with chronic, acute or terminal illnesses, physical or developmental disabilities. Provides patient education and counseling, advises caregivers, and makes necessary referrals for other social services. 

 

Responsibilities 

Provide Clinical and Administrative oversight to the Assertive Community Treatment Team. 

  • Hire staff as needed to ensure that the program is fully staffed per DBHDD's ACT Operations Manual. 

  • Maintain after hour crisis protocols for staff to ensure that individuals have 24/7 accessibility to ACT services as needed. 

  • Provide clinical supervision to all staff to ensure best practices are in the service deliveries and that each staff is receiving supervision as required per DBHDD and CARF standards. 

  • Ensure that clinical documentation and authorizations are being done according to the most current DBHDD Provider Manual. 

  • Ensure that services provided have proper authorizations before service delivery. 

  • Be available for consultation/supervision to the team on a daily basis or have made arrangements for clinician coverage when on approved leave. 

  • Manage the Health & Safety Process for ACT to ensure compliance. 

  • Ensure that utilization guidelines, team productivity, and service standards are being met. 

  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor. 

  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures. 

  •  

 

Master's degree in social work and counseling from an accredited college or university and eligibility to be licensed.
