Northeastern Judicial Circuit – Administrative Assistant I


The Northeastern Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant I to provide administrative and clerical support in Hall County. Under general supervision, this position will assist attorneys and office staff by managing correspondence, answering phone calls, performing receptionist duties, and supporting daily office operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Description of Duties: The Administrative Assistant I performs a wide range of office administrative duties, including, but not limited to, demonstrating legal support in preparation of legal documents and correspondence. Responsibilities include delivering legal pleadings to various courts, maintaining organized records, and handling a variety of administrative tasks in a fast-paced legal environment. This position may serve as a primary contact and information source for the assigned office.  Performs other related duties as required.

High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of job-related experience.
