DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is part of the GDA Laboratory Administration located in Tifton, Georgia, and is a part of the Georgia Department of Agriculture’s Laboratory Division.

·         Under general supervision, performs a variety of general secretarial, clerical, and administrative support functions for the Tifton Laboratory administrative office.

·         May enter date and/or process documents and records.

·         The work includes operating standard office equipment.

 

Applicants must reside in the following counties or be willing to relocate:

·         Tift

·         Tifton

 

POSITION OVERVIEW:

·         This position is scheduled for less than 30 hours per week and is not eligible for benefits.

·         Must have the ability to work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons (12:30 pm -4:30 pm)

 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

·         High School diploma/ GED.

·         One (1) year of administrative/clerical experience.

·         (1) year of customer service.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Good communication & interpersonal skills

·         Customer service experience

·         Good organizational skills & time management
